1. Welcome
Phoebe welcomed all attendees to the meeting.
2. Treasurer's Report
3. Constitutional Amendments
3.1 It was proposed that the new position of Social Coordinator be added to the COMPSOC executive body. The case was presented by Hui Yee and the amendment passed by a vote, for - 19, against - 0.
3.2 It was proposed to change the constitution so that only a previous Technical Officer or Assistant Technical Officer may take on the position of Technical Officer. The amendment passed by a vote, for - 21, against - 0.
3.3 It was proposed to change the manner in which an Assistant Technical Officer may be elected/appointed. An Assistant Technical Officer need not be appointed by the Technical Officer. Instead, an Assistant Technical Officer may be nominated and elected as per other Executive positions (except Technical Officer). The amendment was passed by a vote, for - 21, against - 0.
4. Vice President's Report - on behalf of the President
Summary of 2004 events and achievements - 2 installfests, 1 DVD night, continuous Linux support, the move into the new office.
5. COMPSOC Executive Nominations
Nominations received before the meeting were announced and the call was made for any further nominations. The final nominations list was:

Nominees were invited to give a short speech:
Clarence Dang spoke on behalf of the "After the 11th Hour Coalition".
Sweta Maira, Sam Gentle, Thomas Sewell and Vamsi Gullapalli also gave speeches.
6. Election Details
Phoebe gave the details of the election. The election will be held online. All nominees were invited to create a vote.html page in their public_html directory to further their election campaign.
