Empty cash box on regular basis (weekly).
With all receipts that go into the cash box enter the purpose(what was bought and why) and name
-
Compsoc Executive Elections:
Probably have elections at the end of the year rather than beginning of next year. The new Compsoc body will not be officially introduced, but can be chosen and trained at the end of the year itself.
Within the last few weeks can also train the new Compsoc executives.
It will also enable two Compsoc exec bodies to work within the first few weeks of the next year, where the workload is very hectic.
Have the first year reps election at the beginning of next year.
-
O-Week and Week1:
Have a stall at O-Week.
Get publicity through this
Come up with ideas for what the stall can do during that time, probably a baarbeque.
Have cse tours and get lab1 work ready.
-
Funding:
Due for a computer in about 6 months time (keep this in mind).
Can allocate some funding for a new fridge. Can out this in the compsoc office and sell drinks.
President and treasurer have to co-sign cheques.
For net-banking, both parties have to log onto their account and allow transaction from the compsoc account simultaneously.
Inorder to pay the Ball debt, CASOC must first give us the money. This condition was agreed to by all parties, so do not pay any amount for the debt till CASOC makes the payment.
Engineering Faculty fund $1500, but from this $500 will be kept for the Engineering Ball.
-
Install Fest:
Planned for the Saturday of Week 7. (After the break).
Consult volunteers for help.
Cse pays for all food at the install fest. Ensure they are notified about the event
-

This is organised to provide help for students selecting their subjects for the session.
