Welcome to the new CompSoc website.
This site is based on Scoop, a system originally developed for Kuro5hin.
Click "Full story" for more information, and to post comments.

At the top of this page you should see a series of links: News, Events, and so on. Each of these is a link to a separate "section" of the site, and each section has its own set of stories like this one.
Any registered user can post comments about any story. In some sections, such as "Diary" and "Forum", users can post new stories of their own.
At the time of writing, the sections are:
- News:
- Important or interesting new information about CompSoc, CSE, or recent developments in computing-related fields.
- Events:
- Information about planned CompSoc-organised events.
- Forum:
- An open discussion forum for CompSoc members.
- MLP:
- Random web links which people find interesting.
- Diaries:
- If you have something to say about yourself, say it here.
